2/29/2012 - Suspect Wanted in Construction Equipment Theft

Peel Crime Stoppers is asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect wanted in an unusual construction equipment theft.
Between January 27th, 2012 and January 30th, 2012, an unknown male was at the "Brook Restoration Construction" site located at 90 Paisley Boulevard West, in the City of Mississauga. The male suspect stole 35 counter balance swing stage weights, each weighing 55 lbs, with a total value of $4000.00.

Suspect Description: Male, dark coat with white horizontal stripe across back and arms. Dark pants, baseball cap.
Suspect Vehicle: Dark coloured minivan

On May 26th, 2010, Satpal SINGH and Harvinder AULAKH came to Canada from India as members of the Harjit International Sports Club after receiving sponsorship to play in Kabaddi tournaments between May 30th and August 16th, 2010. On August 1st, 2010, they left their sponsor's residence located on Hickory Drive in Mississauga within an hour of each other on foot.
Satpal Singh took his backpack and passport with him, while Harvinder Aulakh took only his backpack. It is believed that neither individual has access to a vehicle or money and that they have gone missing with the intent to claim refugee status in Canada as both parties live in impoverished conditions in India.
