Peel Crime Stoppers is seeking your assistance in identifying the 3 male suspects pictured below, who are responsible for a string of break and enters at the Brampton Towers complex located in the area of Charolais Boulevard and McMurchy Avenue in Brampton. 

CRIME OF THE WEEK BRAMPTON
RELEASE # 2010-18b2

On Thursday, February 5, 2009, at 9:00 a.m., 27 year-old Poonam Litt left her family residence in the area of Bramalea Road and Bovaird Drive East. Her intended destination was her place of employment, located in the area of Torbram Road and Bovaird Drive East.   Mrs. Litt never arrived at work and her whereabouts are still unknown. 
 
Members of Mrs. Litt’s family have posted a $25,000.00 reward for any information that will lead police to the whereabouts of Poonam Litt. 
 
Mrs. Litt’s family has provided officers with video footage of her, which has been posted on “You Tube”. Members of the public are encouraged to watch this video and report any information they may have regarding the whereabouts of Mrs. Litt.

Poonam Litt is described as:   South Asian female, 5’4” tall, 130 lbs., with brown eyes and black, shoulder-length hair.   At the time of her disappearance she was wearing a black coat and blue jeans.

The investigation into Mrs. Litt’s disappearance is still ongoing and has involved a number of officers.  The circumstances surrounding Mrs. Litt’s disappearance are disturbing and investigators will not simply close this file. Any and all investigative leads will be followed-up on. Investigators would like to encourage members of the public who may have information in regards to this matter to come forward and speak to them. The focus of our Crime of the Week is a vicious jewelry store robbery, and Peel Crime Stoppers is seeking your assistance in identifying the robbers.

On Wednesday, July 14, 2010 at approximately 10:30 a.m. two suspects entered the Alexander Jewelers located at 221 Queen Street South in Mississauga.    They approached the victim who was working and alone in the store at the time.    The suspects identified themselves as Fraud Investigators and showed the victim a silver police looking badge.  The suspects then made their way behind the counter with one suspect holding a handgun at his side.   A struggled took place between the victim and two suspects and the victim was pistol whipped about the head.   Two witnesses entered the store during the struggle and the 2 suspects fled the store empty handed.   They were last seen on foot heading southbound on Queen Street and eastbound on Mill Street.

 The suspects are described as:

1. Male, black, mid 20’s, 6’2”, 180 lbs, narrow face, goatee, short black hair, athletic build.   He was wearing a dark blue military ribbed sweater with shoulder patches, dark pants, dark shoes, dark baseball cap, rimless sunglasses.  He had a silver police type badge in black leather case on beaded chain around his neck and was carrying a handgun.

2. Male, black, mid 20’s, 6’0”, 180 lbs, round face, athletic build.  He was wearing a dark green shirt, patterned dark pants and dark shoes.

Peel Crime Stoppers is asking for your help in identifying thieves who are stealing tires and rims from vehicles at the Meadowvale Honda Dealership located at 210 Battleford Road in Mississauga.

Since February, 2009, unknown suspects have been entering the Honda Car Dealership lot and removing the tires and rims and leaving the cars without wheels, suspended on bricks.  

It is suspected that these tires are being used to replace the tires of modified Honda vehicles.   If you know of anyone who is selling or using stolen tires and rims, you can anonymously contact Peel Crime Stoppers to submit a tip.

Peel Crime Stoppers is asking for your help in locating a male party wanted on first degree murder charges.

On Saturday, July 3rd, 2010 at approximately 8:30 pm, Adrian DUCAS was shot and killed at the Malton Community Centre located at 3450 Morning Star Drive, Mississauga while playing basketball.

A Canada Wide Warrant in the First Instance for First Degree Murder has been issued for Christopher RAPHAEL.

Christopher RAPHAEL is described as: Male Black 5’ 7” tall 160 lbs Brown eyes, Black hair in cornrows   Clean shaven

CRIME OF THE WEEK MISSISSAUGA

An unknown suspect is responsible for at least five related theft occurrences across Peel Region from Blockbuster stores in June, 2010.  The suspect enters the stores between 7:30 p.m. and 11:00 pm., attends the electronic accessory area of the store and selects numerous game controllers (PS3, XBOX).  The suspect then walks out of the store without paying. When store staff attempt to intervene, the suspect flees on foot.

Suspect Description: Male Black 20-25 years old 6’1”-6’4” Thin Build Glasses Always wears baseball hats *Note  unique design on   t-shirt*

CRIME OF THE WEEK MISSISSAUGA
RELEASE # 2010-14a

On Wednesday, June 23, 2010, a cashier  was working alone at  the  "Macs Milk" Convenience Store, located at 7235 Bellshire Gate, in the City of Mississauga.

At approximately 2:14 a.m., two males entered the store and approached the victim, who was behind the cash register. The male produced a gun and pointed it at the victim, yelling “hurry up, hurry up".   The male then fired one round into the wall of the store.  The male pointed the gun once again at the victim and told him to open the cash register.  The second male was standing close to the exit and yelled "come on, come on".  Both males then fled from the store with no cash or merchandise.

Suspect #1:   black, 20 - 25 years old, dark complexion, thin build, 6` tall.  He was wearing a black ball cap, black hoodie with a long white t-shirt underneath, dark jeans, and dark shoes.

Suspect #2:   black, 20-22 years old, dark complexion, thin build, 5`8".  He was wearing a ball cap, white hoodie with logo on the front, dark pants, dark shoes and a black backpack.

Peel Crime Stoppers is seeking your assistance in identifying two suspects wanted in the theft of a large amount of DVD’s from a Mississauga Blockbuster Video store in January, 2010.

On Friday, January 15th, 2010, two suspects entered the Blockbuster Video store located at 815 Britannia Road West in Mississauga and stole $4000.00 worth of Blue-Ray DVD’s. These suspects are believed to be responsible for several other thefts in Peel Region. The suspects are described as:

1. Male, Eastern European, 55 years, 5’10”, 200 lbs, wearing a beige jacket and sunglasses
   
2. Female, Eastern European, 55 years, 5’8”, wearing a long booster coat and eyeglasses.
   

CRIME OF THE WEEK BRAMPTON
RELEASE # 2010-13b

Peel Crime Stoppers is seeking your assistance in identifying three suspects responsible for damaging St. Michael’s Catholic Secondary School located on Columbia Way in Bolton, which is currently under construction.

On Thursday, June 10, 2010 at approximately 7:00 pm, the suspects entered the school without authorization and committed mischief to the school.

The exterior bricks and windows were vandalized with orange spray paint and inside the building the suspects set-off two fire extinguishers and stole fire pole stations and fire alarm equipment which were ripped out of the walls.  

 The suspects are described as:

1. Male, white, 16-20 years, 5’8”-6’, slim build, dark short hair, wearing a light-coloured  “ADIDAS” hooded sweatshirt, dark coloured shorts, white socks and dark running shoes with white soles.   He was also wearing a dark coloured knapsack with white vertical stripes.
   
2. Male, white, 16-20 years, slim build, dark short hair, wearing a dark t-shirt with a white graphic design on the front, black track pants and black and white running shoes.
   
3. Male, white, 16-20 years, slim build, dark short hair,  wearing a dark coloured t-shirt with a large white graphic design on the front, black track pants with white stripes down the side and white running shoes.

CRIME OF THE WEEK
RELEASE # 2010-11b

Peel Crime Stoppers wants your help in identifying suspects wanted in the theft of 2 trailer loads of pharmaceutical goods as well as locating an outstanding stolen trailer.
 
On the 31 May, 2010, between 1:58 a.m. and 2:10 a.m., 3 unknown male suspects entered a trailer yard of General Cartage at 48 North Queen Street, Etobicoke, and stole 2 tractor trailers containing a large variety of pharmaceutical goods, valued at $1.5 million.

The suspects were able to steal the tractor trailers by cutting holes through the perimeter fencing and driving the tractor trailers overtop of the remaining fencing.

Both tractors have been recovered in the McDonalds lot located at Highway 27 and Carrier Drive in Etobicoke.   One of the trailers, which was emptied out, was recovered at 20 Delta Parkway Blvd., Brampton. 
 
The outstanding trailer is described as:  white, with blue line and star, 40 feet in length, Ontario trailer #5215.
