| 2/24/2010 - Baby Formula Bandits Hit Shoppers Drug Mart | CRIME OF THE WEEK MISSISSAUGA RELEASE #2010-05a
On Saturday, February 13, 2010, at approximately 3:00 p.m., two suspects attended the Shoppers Drug Mart, located at 128 Queen Street S in the City of Mississauga. The suspects were observed to conceal a quantity of baby formula containers into bags they had brought with them. Upon being approached by store employees about the theft, they casually left the store with the bags and baby formula, valued at over $2,000.00.
Suspect #1: white, 5’10”- 6’, 250lbs, blue jeans, black jacket (New York Knicks), dark ball cap (2010 Olympics), white shoes.
Suspect #2: white, 5’10”- 6’, 250lbs, dark jeans, black leather jacket, toque (patterned), white and black shoes.

| | 2/18/2010 - TIM HORTON’S ROBBERY SUSPECTS SOUGHT | CRIME OF THE WEEK MISSISSAUGA RELEASE # 2010-04a
Crime Stoppers is seeking your help in solving a brazen early morning armed robbery that took place at a Tim Horton’s. On the 12th of January, 2010, at approximately 1:50 am, two male suspects entered the Tim Horton`s coffee shop located at 4100 Dixie Road in Mississauga.
The first suspect, who was armed with a cut off long gun, proceeded behind the counter, while the second suspect vaulted the counter. Both suspects made demands for cash of two victims who were working.
The suspects removed cash from the store cash registers and rummaged through both victims’ purses. The suspects obtained a quantity of cash and left in a silver older model Japanese style car with tinted windows.
The suspects are described as:
Suspect #1: male, possibly of Asian descent, 20-25 yrs, slim build. He was wearing a dark coloured hoodie with the hood up, dark gloves and dark jeans. He was armed with a sawed off long gun.
Suspect #2: male, black, slightly taller than the first suspect. He wore a dark hoodie, dark pants and dark gloves and was carrying a black backpack. To view a video of the robbery, click [YouTube].

| | 2/2/2010 - “Cheque Point” Victim Robbed at Gunpoint | CRIME OF THE WEEK BRAMPTON RELEASE #2010-02b1
On Wednesday, January 27th, 2010, the victim was working at Cheque Point, located at 83 Kennedy Road South, unit #27, in the City of Brampton. At approximately 8:57am the victim opened the store and let in the two suspects, believing them to be customers. Immediately after opening the door, one of the suspects pushed the victim into the back room and ordered him to lie on the floor, tied the victim’s hands with black electrical tape and pointed what the victim believes to be a gun to the back of his head. One suspect stood by the victim while the other went to the safe which had been left open by the victim. The suspects removed a large quantity of money from the safe. The suspects then locked the victim in the bathroom and fled southbound through the lot. The victim was able to free his hands and contacted police. Suspect #1: male white, 30`s, stocky build, 5`10 wearing a grey jacket with a hood, black hat, and gloves
Suspect #2: Male white, medium build, 30`s, 5`10, wearing blue jeans, dark baseball hat, with white letters, blue jean jacket, white running sneakers, gloves and carrying a black knapsack

| | 2/2/2010 - Caledon Paramedic Struck in Hit and Run Accident | CRIME OF THE WEEK - BOLTON RELEASE #2010-02b2
Peel Crime Stoppers is seeking your assistance in helping Caledon OPP identify a female driver involved in a hit and run that occurred in the Town of Bolton.
On August 26th, 2009 at approximately 4pm, a Caledon paramedic discovered four youths parked in the back lot of an EMS station, located at 28 Anne Street, Bolton. Suspecting the youths were smoking marijuana, the paramedic directed them to stay in the vehicle as he called police. Upon hearing police were being called the vehicle suddenly reversed, striking the paramedic. It then exited the parking lot and fled the scene. The paramedic suffered minor injuries.
The vehicle is described as a grey/silver Chevrolet Equinox.
The suspect driver is described as female, olive skinned with straight black hair and a skinny build. There were three others in the vehicle at the time of the incident who were described as males, all having very short hair.

| | 1/14/2010 - Identification of Suspect Sought in Snow Blower Caper | Crime of the Week Brampton Release # 2010-01b
In early December 2009, a male suspect phoned Classic Honda at 20 Van Kirk Drive in Brampton to purchase a snow blower and used a stolen Visa card number.
The suspect then attended a few days later and picked up the snow blower using a truck similar to the one pictured below. The Visa card was never shown, and never left the victim’s possession. The suspect presented a fraudulent driver’s license in the card holder’s name, pictured below.

CRIME OF THE WEEK MISSISSAUGA RELEASE #2009-25a
Two thieves were caught on video surveillance stealing a large fork lift machine, and your anonymous call to Crime Stoppers can help police solve this case.
On Saturday November 14, 2009 at around 7:00 in the morning, a male suspect drove a white cargo van into the new home construction site on Erin Center Drive, west of Winston Churchill Boulevard. He parked beside a 1998 " Load Lifter " Fork Lift truck, yellow in colour. The suspect started up the machine and drove it out onto Erin Center Drive.
Minutes later, a second suspect arrived at the location operating a flat bed truck. The fork lift was loaded onto the awaiting flat bed truck and driven away by the suspect.

| | 12/17/2009 - Checkered Shoe Thief Sought | Crime of the Week Mississauga
Release # 2009-26a
On the 23rd November, 2009, an elderly victim parked her vehicle in the area of Peter Street and Lake Street in Mississauga. Sometime between 2:26 p.m. and 2:29 p.m. an unknown suspect broke into the victim’s vehicle and stole her purse.
A short time later a male suspect attended an Esso Gas Station located at 2185 Leanne Boulevard in Mississauga and purchased a quantity of gas using the victim’s stolen credit card.
The suspect at the gas station is described as: male, white, approximately 28 years old, shaved head, scraggly beard. He was wearing a dark waist length jacket, pants with the bottoms rolled up to his ankles and distinctive black and white checkered shoes.
The suspect was driving a burgundy GMC Jimmy with black tinted windows, chrome around the doors and after-market chrome rims on the tires.

| | 12/17/2009 - Shot Fired During Esso Gas Station Robbery | Crime of the Week Brampton Release # 2009-26b
On Sunday, December 13th, 2009 at approximately 3:00 am, the victim was working at the 24hr Esso gas station located at 7970 Mavis Road, Brampton.
At this time, a lone suspect entered the store and approached the victim at the cash counter. The suspect produced a small handgun and made a demand for cash and cigarettes. The victim turned over a quantity of cash and cigarettes. The suspect then began demanding something which the victim did not understand. The suspect became agitated, firing one shot from the gun. The bullet missed the victim, lodging into the cabinet behind him. The suspect then demanded the victim`s car keys, to which the victim complied.
The suspect exited the store, fleeing the parking lot in the victim`s vehicle (2003 dodge caravan blue, Ont Licence # BHTW 476), last seen eastbound on Steeles Avenue. The vehicle has since been located by police on Creditstone Road in Brampton.
Suspect description: male, black, dark skin, 26-27yrs, 5` 6" - 5` 7", thin build, short hair in corn rows, wearing all black zippered hoodie, black pants, white & blue bandana covering face.

| | 12/9/2009 - Yellow-Coated Bank Robber Hits CIBC | Crime of the Week Mississauga Release # 2009-24a1
On Friday, December 4, 2009, at approximately 2:05 p.m., the suspect entered the CIBC bank, which is located at 6085 Creditview Road, in the City of Mississauga.
The suspect approached the victim, and displayed a note which made a demand for money. The suspect’s left hand was concealed in his jacket pocket, and he was moving his hand around as if to indicate to the victim that he had a weapon. The suspect eventually left the bank empty handed and fled on foot in an unknown direction.
The suspect is described as: male, white, 5`10” to 6`, skinny build, with a red face, and white facial stubble, approximately 40 years old, wearing a yellow windbreaker, a grey wool toque, and a grey t-shirt.
